Rodolfo D. Sandino is a Central American documentary film director based in Europe. He holds a master’s degree in Documentary Film Directing from the DocNomads programme in Lisbon, Budapest and Brussels.

His films explore the intersections of historical memory and the Latin American diaspora experience, weaving together archival material and contemporary footage to examine themes of displacement, belonging, and the evolving identities of immigrant communities.

He is currently developing his next documentary project "Echoes of a Nicaribbean Revolution", recently selected as a part of the DOC. LAB Coimbra in the DOC.Coimbra Film Festival. He also contributes as a film programmer in the Mostra Internacional de Cinema em Faro (Portugal), pre-selector at the Sunrise Film Festival (UK) and programming screener at the Chicago Underground Film Festival (US).
